ORE ID Crosses 200K Accounts and Launches Enhanced ORE ID Developer Experience with In-App Transaction Signing

Authorizing in-app blockchain transactions is a cumbersome, clunky experience for developers and end-users alike. The current industry standard requires the end user to leave popular play-to-earn (P2E) games or decentralized applications (dApps) to authorize transactions via a third-party vendor. This requires additional developer work, testing and ultimately slow time-to-market.

AIKON is changing the status quo.

We are excited to announce the launch of an enhanced ORE ID experience that both developers and end-users will love. Now, developers have a simple, secure and customizable UX process for built-in blockchain transactions — without ever needing to redirect the end-user for transaction signing.

ORE ID’s account growth is skyrocketing, proving that ORE ID is a much-needed tool in the industry.

“It took us two years to accumulate our first 37,000 users, we doubled that between October 2021 to January 2022. Over the past five months, we doubled our user base again. Today, we’re now over 200,000 accounts on the ORE Network! And with this new ORE ID developer experience, we expect to see continued exponential growth,” explains AIKON CEO and ORE Network Core Contributor, Marc Blinder.

Simple and Fast Transaction Signing

AIKON’s ORE ID is a single sign-on authentication platform that works cross-chain with Algorand, Ethereum, EOS and more. By using everyday Web2 logins like GMail, Facebook, email, and SMS, end-users of any web or mobile app easily create an on-chain wallet upon the first login.

A user’s private key is encrypted with a PIN of their choosing — so users never need to remember their blockchain accounts or keys. Built on the Open Rights Exchange (ORE) Network and used by both developers and businesses, like gaming pioneer RedFOX Labs, ORE ID allows users to manage their own public and private keys — and ultimately their own identity.

“The integration of AIKON’s ORE ID into KOGs:SLAM! mobile game provides our end-users with a streamlined and simple Web3 onboarding experience. This is a crucial key to ensuring app adoption and continued growth. We look forward to integrating ORE ID (known to our users as RFOX ID) into our future play-to-earn games because the experience has become instrumental to our ecosystem,” said RFOX CIO Rui Nobrega.

But unlike competing Web3 authentication platforms, ORE ID is built for the user’s entire digital identity management — because we know that authentication doesn’t end at the wallet creation stage. By using their same credentials, end users can sign transactions directly in an application for the best, streamlined UX. Signing transactions is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Anyone who wants to use the ORE Network has to buy and use ORE Tokens to store data in the registry. Anytime a business creates a new account on the ORE Network for its users, the business needs to purchase ORE Tokens.

To create an account, 10 ORE tokens are staked to the network. As the network grows, the amount of ORE needed to be staked will decrease incrementally, further increasing the utility of ORE Token.
