It’s been an exciting week here at AIKON. First, we announced Gretchen Fox Palmer as our new Chief Marketing and Culture Officer to help drive ethical Web3 initiatives. Today, we’re sharing the news of the inclusion of AIKON ORE ID in the new Unity Decentralized Store, coinciding with the H.E.R DAO Hackathon at ETH Denver this month.
Unity, the world’s leading platform for creating and growing real-time 3D (RT3D) content, introduced the new Decentralized category page in its store on February 28, 2023. The new category supports developers interested in technology that enables decentralization in gaming. ORE ID’s inclusion in the store empowers developers to provide self-sovereign identity to their users with an easy onboarding solution. In celebration of the new store listing, AIKON is proud to sponsor H.E.R. DAO hackathon at ETH Denver, the first hackathon challenge for ORE ID developers building within the Unity developer environment. The hackathon is being held at the infamous H.E.R. DAO Hacker House, which became the first women-led hack house in the market in 2022. The organization helps further women-led innovation and development in decentralized gaming, as well as elevate the presence of women in game studio ownership, the broader gaming industry, and across the market.
ETH Denver is the largest and longest running ETH event in the world. The annual innovation festival and community gathering started on February 24 this year and continues through March 5. It’s considered one of the most important events for those interested in Web3 and a decentralized future. We’re thrilled to be part.
